Little chef, how about we cook some heart-shaped crispy treats?

They are perfect to share with the ones you love on Valentine’s day.

Wash your hands, put on your apron and let’s go! 


  • 40 marshmallows
  • ¼ cup of butter or margarine
  • 6 cups of crispy rice cereal
  • ½ teaspoon of vanilla
  • Decorative icing, candy. . .
  • Pastry cutters (optional)
  • One dish 13 × 9 in
  • 1 spatula


  • In a big microwave safe bowl, melt the butter and the marshmallows for one minute and then mix them with your spatula.
  • Put it back for one minute and mix well.


  • Add vanilla.
  • Add your cereals and mix until the cereals are well coated.


  • Spread butter with a paper towel on the inside of the dish.
  • Spread your cereal mixture.
  • Let it cool a little bit.


  • Butter up the pastry cutters or a knife.
  • Cut up your mixture with the pastry cutters or with a knife.
  • Decorate each heart with the icing and the candy.


The hearts are so beautiful!

It smells so good!
